"I was looking for a good protective umbrella for a while, with the increased temperature in the UK this is exactly what I needed to protect myself when walking, a hat does the job but umbrella is better. "Its a sun umbrella. To block the (can be dangerous) sun. Spectacular when needed. According to my research this is the only brand that provides independent testing support for the UPF 50+ rating. Every other brand that I was able to find, makes claims without support. Therefore, for me, this differentiates the brand SOLBARI sufficiently that, if I want or need what it does, and I do, there is no acceptable alternative."
"I’m really impressed with this brolly, feels and looks well made and keeps me much cooler. I love that it has a wrist strap so I don’t have to worry about putting it down somewhere and forgetting it. The slip on cover and hard shell case are a plus too. Solbari products are always quality 👌"
"This is a very well made brolly. The UPF covering is totally effective, and the inner pattern (blue sky with fluffy clouds) is a lovely touch. It's sturdy, although you must be careful if there is wind. It does recover from being turned inside out, although this is obviously best kept to a minimum. The spring loaded opening mechanism is just right, and requires a fair degree of strength to reach the click point upon closing it. The retaining velcro'd strap is well designed and it's easy to squash into the protective sleeve. It also comes with a smart case too, but this is mostly left at home. Overall a good investment in what has proven to be a very good parasol. Recommended."
"I’m very pleased with my recently purchased sunbrella which I bought to help me deal with the unpleasant heatwaves this summer. Without it I find it very difficult to leave the house during the day in the high temperatures as I feel lightheaded walking in the strong sun. The sunbrella stops that and I can manage short trips out to my local supermarket and shops more easily. I’m very impressed with the quality too - it comes with the standard umbrella sleeve but also a hard zipped case and all the materials are excellent. I chose the strawberry interior which is very pretty. Highly recommended for anyone struggling with the heat!"
"When you hold your usual umbrella up, you can see the sun through it, but not with Solbari's Sun Protective Umbrella UPF 50+, and so you can see how it is protecting your body and helping to keep you cooler. I purchased one with the reflective outer coating and then black inside. It comes with its own cover, which is slightly loose so that the umbrella actually fits inside it easily, and a hard case if you also require that. It is slightly bulkier than a fold up umbrella, but it is thicker fabric and so it does its job. After seeing tourists using them in England during the heatwaves, I decided to research and buy two. It is not something we have considered before here, but with the summers getting hotter, this is a very useful purchase."
"This umbrella is slightly bulkier than I anticipated but it seems durable and is a good size when opened, and isnt much bigger than an ordinary retractable umbrella. I cant wait to show it off. I suspect it will last me a long time and I'll get great use of it. I'm not a hat person and I really hate having to continuously use sunscreen when im just sitting or walking around outside. This will be a lifesaver."

"I purchased the 42 inch umbrella and it is light weight and wide enough to cover 2 persons. It also comes with a case so that the umbrella is protected when not in use. The outer is reflective so that should block some heat and UV from coming through. I’ve purchased other UV umbrellas from other companies and this one is by far the best."
